Thieves used power tools to get inside GameStop and another store, and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Burglars hit a video game store on Tuesday night and caused thousands of dollars in damage.  The crime was at GameStop, 3011 S. Glenstone Ave, just south of Battlefield Road,

A broken window is about all you can see from outside the business but police say the inside damage is much worse.

The burglars used power tools to break through the security gate inside the glass and get into the business.  They stole several PS4 and Xbox game systems and games to go with them.

Police say the burglars also cut the telephone lines and stole all security cameras and the entire DVR system used to record surveillance footage.

Police say another similar business nearby also was burglarized during the night. Clues left behind at that business indicate the same person could be responsible.
