Gabriel Roche

SPRINGFIELD, Mo -

New details are emerging about a Southwest Missouri man's confession to a December 2011 murder.

Gabriel Roche, who was 18-years-old at the time, faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with the killing of 17-year-old Weston North. Both were from Republic.

Newly released court documents show the suspect's detailed description of the killing to detectives.

Roche allegedly told investigators he put on his "murder suit" before stabbing North and slitting his throat.

The "murder suit" consisted of blue jeans, batting gloves, and a shirt that could repel stains.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against Roche, who is from Republic.
